River source and basin size 

The source of this river is Nevado Masami, Peru region of South America.

The Amazon Basin in Brazil, known as the Amazon Basin, is the world's largest basin, which is twice the size of India in terms of area.

Its total basin area is 70,500,000 square kilometers (27,220,203 sq mi).

The length of the river 

The length of this river is 6,400 km. Some people say that it is longer than the river Nile, but a unanimous decision has not been taken on it yet because the research on it is ongoing. 

Volume of water 

In terms of volume of water, this river has no competition with any other river.

The water of the Amazon River flows into the Atlantic Ocean and during the rainy season the water falling into the sea reaches 300,000 cubic meters per second. The Amazon River accounts for one-fifth of the total volume of freshwater lost to the oceans worldwide.

اس دریا کا منبع جنوبی امریکہ کا  نیواڈو مسمی، پیرو کا علاقہ ہے ۔

برازیل میں ایمیزون کا طاس جسے ایمیزون طاس کے نام سے جانا جاتا ہے، دنیا کا سب سے بڑا طاس ہے جو رقبے کے اعتبار سے پورے بھارت سے بھی دگنا ہے ۔

اس کا کل بیسن ایریا 70،500،000 مربع کلومیٹر (27،220،203 مربع میل) ہے ۔

دریا کی لمبائی 

اس دریا کی لمبائی 6,400 کلومیٹر ہے ۔ بعض لوگ اس کو دریا نیل سے بھی لمبا کہ دیتے ہیں البتہ ابھی اس پر متفق فیصلہ نہیں کیا گیا کیونکہ اس پر تحقیق جاری ہے۔ 

پانی کا حجم 

پانی کے حجم کے لحاظ سے اس دریا کا کسی اور دریا سے کوئی مقابلہ ہے ہی نہیں ۔

دریائے ایمیزون کا پانی بحر اوقیانوس میں گرتا ہے اور بارش کے موسموں میں سمندر میں گرنے والا پانی 300،000 مکعب میٹر فی سیکنڈ تک پہنچ جاتا ہے۔ دنیا بھر میں سمندر میں گرنے والے میٹھے پانی کے کل حجم کا پانچواں حصہ دریائے ایمیزون سے گرتا ہے۔

یہ دریا 40 ہزار نباتات کی اقسام ، 427 میملز کی اقسام ,1300 سو پرندوں کی اقسام ، 378 رپٹائلز ،400 سو ایمفی بینز  اور 3000 ہزار مچھلیوں کا گھر ہے ۔


دریا کی خوبصورتی 

کم انسانی مداخلت کی وجہ سے یہ دریا مخلوق خدا کی محفوظ پناہ گاہ ہے اور خوبصورتی کے رنگ بکھیرتا ہے ۔
