The deepest cave in the world

Varivokina Cave is the deepest cave in the world with a depth of about 2223 meters. The cave is located in a pass between the Krypost and Zont mountains in the Abkhazia region. Abkhazia is an independent state that is officially considered part of the country of Georgia. This cave was discovered in 1968. When this cave was discovered for the first time, the experts had only reached a depth of 115 meters. At that time, the team named this cave S-115. Then in 1986, a team of Russian experts managed to reach a depth of 440 meters in this cave. At that time the name of the cave was changed to Varivokina Cave. In 2015, experts estimated that the cave is much deeper than 440 meters. In March 2018, experts managed to reach the bottom of this cave which was at a depth of 2212 meters. At the bottom of the cave, experts found a whole system of water-eroded tunnels that were more than 6,000 meters long. In 2023, the depth of the cave was measured with modern equipment and its deepest point was found to be 2,223 meters deep. went

ویریووکینا غار دنیا کی سب سے گہری غار ہے جس کی گہرائی تقریباً 2223 میٹر ہے۔ یہ غار ابخازیہ کے علاقے میں کریپوسٹ اور زونٹ پہاڑوں کے درمیان ایک درے میں واقع ہے۔  ابخازیہ ایک خود مختار ریاست ہے جسے سرکاری طور پر ملک جارجیا کا حصہ سمجھا جاتا ہے۔  اس غار کو 1968 میں دریافت کیا گیا۔ جب پہلی دفعہ یہ غار دریافت ہوا اس وقت ماہرین صرف 115 میٹر کی گہرائی تک پہنچ پائے تھے۔ اس وقت اس ٹیم نے اس غار کا نام S-115 رکھا۔ اس کے بعد 1986 میں روسی ماہرین کی ایک ٹیم اس غار میں 440 میٹر کی گہرائی تک پہنچنے میں کامیاب ہوئی۔ اس وقت اس غار کا نام تبدیل کر کے ویریووکینا غار رکھ دیا گیا 2015 میں ماہرین نے اندازہ لگایا کہ غار  440 میٹر سے کہیں زیادہ گہرا ہے۔  مارچ 2018 میں ماہرین اس غار کی تہہ تک پہنچنے میں کامیاب ہو گئے جو 2212 میٹر کی گہرائی پر تھی۔ اس غار کہ تہہ میں ماہرین کو پانی کے کٹاؤ سے بنی سرنگوں کا ایک پورا نظام ملا جس کی لمبائی 6000 میٹر سے زیادہ تھی- 2023 میں جدید آلات سے اس غار کی گہرائی کی پیمائش کی گئی اور اس کا گہرا ترین مقام 2223 میٹر گہرا پایا گیا
