The Burj Khalifa, located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is the tallest skyscraper in the world since its inauguration in 2010. It has a total height of 828 meters and 163 floors. Designed by the architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, the building is a leading example of modern architecture and engineering, using a combination of steel and concrete. Its construction began in 2004 and cost approximately 1.5 billion dollars
