When you dive beyond 200 meters (656 feet), you enter the deep seabed—a vast world that leads to the abyssal plains at depths of 3,000 to 6,000 meters (19,685 feet). But it doesn't stop there. The Mariana Trench is an astonishing 11,000 meters (36,089 feet) deep. These regions, isolated in darkness and high pressure, harbor unique life and play an important role in the geological and biological evolution of Earth.
