The Dead Sea is a salt lake ... 9 times saltier than any other sea in the world. It is located between Israel and Jordan. Due to the high salinity in the water, no living organisms can live there. It can be about 80 km in length and 7 to 20 km in width. Perhaps the most interesting result of these salts is that it is practically impossible to drown.

بحیرہ مردار ایک نمکین جھیل ہے ... جو دنیا کے کسی بھی سمندر سے 9 گنا زیادہ نمکین ہے۔ یہ اسرائیل اور اردن کے درمیان واقع ہے ۔ پانی میں نمکیات کی مقدار زیادہ ہونے کی وجہ سے کوئی جاندار وہاں نہیں رہ سکتا ۔ اس کی لمبائی تقریباً 80 کلومیٹر اور چوڑائی 7 سے 20 کلومیٹر تک ہو سکتی ہے۔ شاید ان نمکیات کا سب سے دلچسپ نتیجہ یہ ہے کہ اس میں ڈوبنا عملی طور پر ناممکن ہے۔
